Whether you believe in global warming or not, you can not sense changes in global warming from one season to the next.
I agree with the poster before, look at the jet stream. It has not followed a typical pattern this year. Think rationally, even Al Gore is claiming just a very small change will create damage, not this tempory event where it is more the flow of cold air, not the total supply.
My question would be if the normal Canada air fronts have not dropped into the lower US this year as much as normal, where is the cold air going to? Are other places in the North Hemisphere experiencing a similar west-east pattern that is blocking the cold? If so, I can't help but think that the artic circle would be colder this year, leading to an increase in the arctic ice this year. Just thinking out loud a little and trying to consider weather events that are a little bit bigger than just looking outside my door and saying, wow, it's warmer here today, I wonder if it's global warming

Please do not post if you are not scholarly about this process. I just want to know why people have not educated themselves on this topic but yet continue to complain that this year is warmer due to global warming, and that hurricane was stronger due to global warming, and that I dont have any snow due to global warming when in fact that if they read about the weather just a little bit they would know that the synoptic scale weather pattern has kept a primarily zonal pattern across the US since early December which his kept most artic air masses bottled up at the poles. ITS NOT GLOBAL WARMING PEOPLE!!! ITS THE WEATHER PATTERN!!! PLEASE DO NOT ASSOCIATE SMALL SCALE EVENTS WITH GLOBAL WARMING, YOU ARE BEING IGNORANT AND MISLEADING PEOPLE. YOU PEOPLE ARE THE TYPE OF PEOPLE THAT ARE IN THE GORVERNMENT. THE ONES WHO DO NOT LISTEN!!! EDUCATE YOURSELF BEFORE SAYING OHH IT MUST BE GLOBAL WARMING!!!

it could be because the atmosphere is trapping the suns heat right now but relly it could just be nice but most likly global warming

No it is not. One thing people forget is that autumn ended only days ago; winter is just getting geared up.
