That doesn't use the metric system? I remember back in the 70's there was a move to get the U.S. in line with the rest of the world regarding measurements.
Why have we not converted?

You go through the first set of doors and you're in a tiny little room. There's usually a heavy duty weather mat. In cold weather the heat is blasting. Then you go through a second set and you're in the building - it's usually a business of some nature. The doors are glass. Sometimes automatic, sometimes not.

What is that one little room in between both sets of doors actually called?

(I had NO idea where to put this question)

I never saw anything wrong with the standard post agitators as long as I didn't overload the tub, and they didn't take up as much space in the tub because they didn't have auger fins.

The reason for my question is because I have a trailer frame 8'-6" x 36' being fabricated for me. The weight load will be approximately 10,000-15,000 lbs. The individual decided to use 4" steel channel 1/4" thick as the main beams and 3" channel for the cross members. Due to the extreme length of the trailer the individual has found a sagging issue within the middle of the main beams. He realizes now that he should have probably used 8" channel instead. Since the fabrication is so far ahead he concurred to double up with another 4" channel directly below the first to reinforce the strength due to it's length. I would like to know if this will make the frame even stronger that a 8" channel 1/4" thick.
