hi,
If i have a 12V 10Ah lead acid battery,what does 10Ah stands for...
Does it mean an average of 10Amps of current supplied for an hour, or the time taken for a full 10Amps supplied.
If i have a dc electric motor(12V 10A) would this battery go well with it?

It does not need to be accurate just eye balling the speed but i need to be able to change the speed or voltage (which is the same thing) can someone reccomend a part number or product that can do this, i dont know anything about electronics, i just need to know what to buy.

This question is concerned with calculating the work required to stretch a spring.
A certain 'engineering' spring does not obey Hooke's law. Instead, the tension T in the spring when it is extended a distance x beyond its natural length is given by ;

T=sqrt(5x+11) - sqrt(11)

Find the work done in stretching the spring from x = 14 to x = 19

Task.
Describe this system with respect to the concepts of, information theory, source coding, channel parameters .Your description should contain numerical values of relevant information measures, noise parameters, signal parameters and, relevant symbol rates and bit rates. Use diagrams where appropriate.
Make any recommendations as to how you could improve the performance of the system with respect to your findings. Indicate any disadvantages that may accompany your recommendation. Justify your recommendation with appropriate analysis and/or any reference(s) you may have used.

Introduction
A part of a communication system is composed of a discrete source generator, a source encoder and a noisy channel
Description of components.
Source.
This is a discrete source that generates three symbols A, B, and C contiguously.
A sample of 1000 symbols was taken over a period of 1000 s and the following noted during this period:
symbol A occurred 600 times.
symbol B occurred 300 times.
symbol C occurred 100 times.
Source encoder.
This source encodes the symbols using Huffman encoding or block to block encoding.
Modulator.
Here the source encoded symbols are turned into binary symbols using 5V unipolar non return to zero rectangular pulses (TTL) and then sent over the channel.
Channel.
The channel is a binary symmetric channel is linear, has infinite bandwidth and adds noise. During tests on the channel binary data was transmitted at 1 Mbit/s for 1 hour where it was found that 1.8108 bits were incorrectly received.
