I realize that birds don't get electrocuted because electricity would rather proceed through the powerline with less resistance (I know it doesn't think, but that's the best way I could say it). Nevertheless the birds do put both feet on the powerline. Hence the powerline, the bird's feet and the bird's body do form a closed loop, right? Hence is does complete a circuit. If the bird was made of metal, current would travel through it, right?

I have a Gaussian formula for a line profile and within the formula is a parameter which varies stepwise in the same fashion from its smallest value right through to its largest value. Instead of writing out all the values in adjacent cells, is there a way i can use a minimum amount of cells and yet still generate a value of the formula in each case for each value of this parameter? Is there a ranging or iterative ability in Excel?

I work six months out of the year on an oil production platform. I am forced to pursue my next degree online. I am looking for any type of accredited engineering or engineering technology programs that are offered online. The program could be petroleum or mechanical. I understand that their are diploma mills and I want to avoid these at all cost. I am looking for a degree that will help with advancement, in the oil and gas industry. I hope to combine my MBA in with this engineering course. I have found a few programs, but they were not accredited and accreditation means everything. Making a wise decision now will affect my future. I would appreciate any advice!

I-90 and I-94 are two east - west routes through Chicago. The two interstates runs much farther north than Chicago. With Lake Michigan in the way, the two roads must wrap around the south side of the lake. Is it possible to merge the two roads in Michigan with a tunnel to Wisconsin. It would save on driving time by bypassing The Windy. Chicago's traffic would decrease. Some critics has called Chicago's traffic "the worst in the world". Could the tunnel be realistic?
