I heard this is a 5-6 years program. Is that true? What is engineering? It would be weird that someone whos about 20 and wants to go for this degree would probably end up graduating at the age of 26. That can't be good. Can it?

My mother told me *not* to put anything metal in the microwave oven -- fork, spoon or even a gold plated tea cup. Now Campbell's soup "Ready to Go" product has a zip lid which is removed but leaves a metal lip -- why does this not spark? [I tried the fork and Mom was right!] Here is the soup product ...

heat pump to house subjected to ice storm exterior is covered with ice (approx. 80%) I don't want it to get worse due to similar problem a couple of years ago which resulted in replacement of heat pump. Do I need to defrost? Or do I ignore and hope for the best. I have heard to either set to emergency heat mode or to set to cool. Any answers out there?
