YOU ARE COMPARING WHAT AMOUNTS TO A LAWNMOWER ENGINE TO A ROCKET? Do your homework, after WW11 we got some of Germany's scientist and the USSR got the others cause it was Hitler's program that lead to the space race. NASA is a branch of the US Govt.
