You measure an angle with a theodolite several times and record the following observations:
114° 27’ 49”
114° 27’ 37”
114° 27’ 39”
114° 27’ 41”
114° 27’ 43”
114° 27’ 44”

What is your best estimate of the true value of the angle? Give your answer to 1 decimal place of a second.

What is the standard error of the observations? Give your answer to 1 decimal place of a second. Show all working

The electric panel has 4 wires coming in...three are "hot" and one is the ground. On my wiggy, it reads 240 volts phase to phase and 120 volts phase to neutral and ground. How (if I can) do I connect to a 3-phase 240 volt motor?

If I have a body with a known mass M and principle inertias I1, I2, and I3 (or Ixx, Iyy, and Izz), is there an exact formula for the lengths of the three major axes of a uniform solid ellipsoid
X^2/A^2 + Y^2/B^2 + Z^2/C^2 = 1
which has the same inertias? In other words, knowning M, I1, I2, and I3, can A, B, and C be calculated exactly? [Or vice-versa: If A, B, and C (plus the density) are known, can I1, I2, and I3 be calculated?]

Specifically, anybody know what makes one chair comfortable and another uncomfortable? What are some of the common materials used in chairs like office chairs and recliners? Surely it isn't just foam. That wouldn't explain why some chairs can withstand abuse and others (usually cheaper) fall apart within a year. Hope somebody knows something about this. I've just spent five hours researching on the internet and I can't find nothing.

Ideally, I would like a filter that passes exactly three distinct wavelength ranges. I could get an arbitrary two-pass via an appropriate choice of notch, but not clear how to get an arbitrary three-pass? (I have found some specific three-pass filters, but they only come in certain varieties.)
