I am 14 years old and I just got retainers put into my mouth at 9 AM this morning. They are hurting so bad that I do not know what to do! I have one in the top and one in the bottom. Does anyone who has retainers remember feeling like this? Is this normal? What do I do to relieve the pain at least for a little while?

I heard that CO2 is absorbed by the sea and is converted to oxygen by algae. As the sea gets hotter their will be more algae and so there will be more CO2 absorbtion. Is this true?
