I've heard that it was as recent as 5000 years ago and that an ancient civilization actually mapped it out back then.

There's a huge arc maybe a thousand km's diameter on the southeast edge of Hudson's Bay. Do you think it's an ancient meteor crater? It's pretty obvious when you see it on Google Maps, but experts just say it isn't. It's something that's bugged me since I was a kid. Would love to go there one day.

Im looking for someone who knows for sure or someone who can lead me to a map of WA, if there is such a thing as a map of undergroud...

Anyone know anything?

Why did the WMO chose the 30 years between 1961-1990 as the Climate Normal Period?
Was there are particular reason, such as the spatial coverage of data being better for that time period? Or was it just arbitrary?

Also, did the Climate Normal Period 'flip' to 1971-2000 when we entered the 21st century?

Some of my friends say that dinosaurs never existed but there's physical proof. Dinosaurs had to come after because there was nothing before Adam and Eve. But dinosaurs came before people. So who really did come first.

There are many written accounts and depictions of dinosaurs.
http://www.genesispark.org/genpark/ancient/ancient.htm
The word dinosaur was invented in 1841. Before that people used names like dragon.
People from all over the world have accounts of dinosaurs: the Chinese who have incorporated it into their lunar calendar, The Welsh who have the dragon in their flag; The account of the Saxon Beowolf; The native american thunderbird; and other stories from many other nations. The Romans even made mosaics of them.

Furthermore, dinosaur fossils have even been found containing blood cells - hardly 65 million years old.

But check the evidence for yourself - don't by brainwashed by dogmatic evolutionists who don't want us to think for ourselves :)

What is rock and mineral by definition? I'm confused when trying to figure out the Hydrolysis process of chemical weathering. Is it either the rock or mineral in the rock or the rock AND mineral that changes form during hydrolysis weathering?

Example. Orthoclase (mineral in granite) undergoes hydrolysis to form Kaolinite (mineral found in clay).

What changes here and in what mineral or rock form. Does the mineral composition of the 'rock' change into something else thus breaking down the physical body of the rock??

Another example is quartz.
I just need someone who can explain this in a simple way.
Thanks
