I think I once saw a video in a science class about the change in our land rising and then going back under water since the begining of Earth. Has anyone seen this video? What is this process called? Do they think that the land we walk on today will one day be under water as well? What will we do then?

I recently found a piece of wood at the lake. It looks more like a primitive carving than driftwood. It is not as hard as stone, yet it is hard and heavy. It has the appearance of a face (quite distinctly). When looked at from differant angles it has differant appearances. It also has both female and male definition. It is not your typical piece of driftwood and gives one the feeling that in times past it might have been a "special" or "spiritual piece". Would love to know how to identify its origin.

its hard enough to prove somethings do let alone do not? God exists, prove otherwise, wind, gravity, our universe, prove you love who you say you do. GW is a theory, not believed by most, proved by no one as of yet. the facts show, no GW

Global warming? ppl mostly want pollution regulations and thats GREAT & necessary. going about it by claiming firebreathing dragons are causing it. and we need to study them is as silly as saying global warming or mankind is doing this thru anything other than pollution, not by global warming or firebreathing dragons.

so many people had believed our earth was flat, it isnt by the way but arguments of global warming are. the world was scientifically proved to be round in 500bc. how many ppl knew this? people believe in evolution except darwin who attributed so much to a Devine Creator. God exists

the 100 or so who have cried global warming have sd from the late 50s thru the 80s we were heading into an ice age. THEY HAD PROOF, positive? ;o)

Even in Britain remains of past life buildings are found deep down, so how do these get covered with so much soil. Where does the top soil come from?
