I haven't got the slightest idea... why wouldn't it be?
It's made from two gasses with virtually no color at moderate temperature and pressure... that seems to add up well enough for me.
I'll check back later and see what the world wants to teach me about this. That'll be worth even more than two points.

This has been asked before. Pure water is a transparent, colorless, tasteless, odorless compound of hydrogen and oxygen.

there are only H-0 bonds in water. light passes through because these bonds do not absorb any light in the visible (400-700nm) range of the EM spectrum

the reason water does not absorb any light in the visible spectrum is because that is the spectrum humans evolved the ability to see in ... tho actually the "arrow of causation" goes the other direction ...
we evolved to see that light-spectrum which water transmits without loss ... mebbe because we are "water-based life-forms" ...

The pollutants and minerals (impurities) are what give it color. If it's pure, then it will be crystal clear.
