do you believe it causes Global warming for which no one has yet to prove. only about 200 say it does to some extent in possiblity while nearly 20,000 say it does not.

less than 200 scientists agree in part that global wamriing may exist and or that C02 levels may adversly affect our ecosystem to a degree above cycles and other factors.

nearly 20,000 who have studied the findings of those 200. they disagree in whole or in large part their findings, their conclusions, and C02 being harmful where as it is known to be helpful to our ecosystems. 20,000 dismiss GW as being reality compared to 200 who do. thru research not voting.

the peers are 200 for GW to 20,000 against it, bc theres no proof.

Mount Pinatubo by itself put out more "greenhouse gases" than all of man's activity, so let's outlaw volcanic activity.

Who ever you mentioned as supporting the alternative that man does not cause global warming, and/or it is not happening, where do they get their information? Exxon?

This room is for SCIENCE, not speculation or doctored data. The data below is supported worldwide by scientists in a peer-review system that modern science is founded on. What are your claims founded on?

CO2 is 30% higher than it has been for 650,000 years. Methane is 130% greater. These are two of the main pollutants humans put into the atmosphere in excess, and they are two of the primary greenhouse gases.

Look at the 'hockeystick', which shows a dramatic warming since 1950 after a fairly stable climate for 1000 years. In fact, the 10 hottest years in recorded history have all happened since 1990, with 2005 being the hottest, and 2006 is shaping up to maybe break that record.
(see links below)

How's that for proof of man's fault in this? There is ample proof, any real scientist will tell you that.

There has NEVER been an article doubting man's influence on global warming published in a peer-reviewed journal. A recent study of almost 1000 proved that.

Yes, the earth naturally heats and cools, but the rate and amount we are warming now is unprecedented in the recent geologic past. We are doing this, and we must stop it. This is not some political statement or rhetoric. This is science trying to educate a crass, ignorant public of the damage they are doing. The magnitude of temperature increase ALREADY is about 10x that of the 'little ice age' of the middle ages, and rate and amount are only going up.

Just to be clear, glacial and interglacial cycles are mainly controlled by astronomical fluctuations, but we have a detailed record of the last 7 cycles, and what the climate and CO2 is doing now is way different and extreme. The rate of increase is much higher than in the past AND the value itself is much higher.

You give figures but no source of these figures. You pose a question in an extremely biased manner. This is not the scientific way of examining any topic. If you don't believe in global warming, fine, but that doesn't alter the facts either way.

Read Algore's book 'an inconvienient truth'. I am not a liberal Democrate. In fact I votted for Bush in last two election but I still believe in Global warming.
Just loow at the picture, you will be convinced.
Global warming it real and it will kill us all and our children if we do not do something about it!

If you are too republican to real Gore, read a book called 'Revenge of Gaia.'

Who are the 200 and who are the 20,000? Scientific questions cannot be answered by voting.

yeah it causes global warming. it's a fact. accept and get on with life. this is like beating a dead horse or trying to convinse someone abortion is right or wrong.

PS we exhale about 16%O2 so it's not all CO2
