This is a loaded question. How many years for the end of the world? The "end of the world" can mean many things to many people. However, I will not undermine your question, for I believe you mean as you say. When will this world, Earth, end? Personally, I believe the world as we once knew it has already ended. If you are a living, breathing human being, then this world is already far worse than when you were born. That is not a personal view, it can be proven. But does that "prove" the end is near? The fullest manifestation of the destruction of this planet has not yet occurred, however that does not mean that it hasn't begun. I believe it has begun. A dominate world is trying to exist. The right of one negates the right of another or so it seems. The issue here is when does the beginning of the end begin? I believe it has, but I do not believe it's imminent. I believe that peace has made way to war and we have become complacent and that violence is our recognition of this.
Conflict is our state of ready-ness. Nations under arms is a universal motto. And a "fight to the end" is the national mentality. Very little wiggle-room in this scenerio, unfortunately. Our world has reached the "tipping point".

Depends on your definition. If you will live for another 50 years, then your world will end then.
The Sun will turn into a red giant 4.5 billion years from now, incinerating earth. That is about as end of this world as it could be. But before this happens, it will get a lot hotter around here, and ocean will evaporate, which could really ruin anyone's vacations. This may happen in just a couple of billion years.
Then there is the problem with global warming, which if we don't fix it and I am sure we will, but that is another debate) could make this planet impossible to live on.
Also, there is the risk of giant, still undiscovered asteroid hitting the earth, killing everyone. Or that of a star close enough going supernova and sending so much radiations that could kill everyone (risk is small, but non zero). Or that someone inventing a super powerful nuclear bomb deciding to test it.
Take your pick, but don't worry too much. Chance of the end of the world being in the next million of years is very small.

No man knows the day or time....... but that doesn't stop fools from inventing dates and times. It has happened many times in the past and will continue to happen until the real end gets here. The next time you hear someone predict the end of the world, just ask them if they will make out a legal document giving all their property to you the day following the date that they predict for the world to end. Believe me, you won't get any takers because they know that they don't really know the date of the end of the world.

The question you asked does not have a specific answer. Is just like saying what kind of cloth a man you've never seen in your life is going to wear.
Just sit and think. Think of a thing which would occur tomorrow and see what happens. Don't think of a usual thing; try to think of and impossible and think to make it possible, you will realise that before you stop thinking your ansswer has faced you in the eye.
You can't say what happens next in life. And your predictions were right that is what they call luck.
My dear no one can tell.
