well tulip the main problem you see is that women have such bad judgement when picking breeding partners, so the real reason is the shallow perspective that women in genral have

I work but my kids come first. They are happy and well cared for (although I'm lucky, all the childcare I can't do is done by other members of the family.) I believe that their lives are enrichened by this. I'd make a terrible full time mother. I need to get out there so that I can be the best mother I'm capable of. There is so much else wrong with the world. Why pick on working mothers? Very few of us are being selfish. We are just providing for our families and nurturing our off-spring at the same time. I think you should ask yourself why you feel so certain that the one excludes the other.

I don't think working women are being selfish, it's just the way of the world, every household really needs two incomes to have a decent lifestyle these days.

However, I do think the children of today, and the last generation are, or have, suffered because of not having a full time parent at home.

That doesn't necessarily mean it has to be the mum, many women earn more than the dad, and men make just as devoted parents as women do. But, I believe a child should really have the full time care of their mother, until at least school age.

If government addressed the issues of all young people today, and realised that an increasing amount of children are having to bring themselves up with out any real guidance; then perhaps they could see that crime starts at school age, and could be reduced by having a full time parent at home giving love, support, guidance, and offering the care that the education system could never possibly supply.

Obviously, to achieve this, the government needs to ensure people can live adequately, and without hardship. But, it seems, they have a hard time understanding anything about what the people of this country need, or want anyway.

Individualty is the foremost issue every person has to go through. Laws of what goes where and who does what is basically the law of the land..but it isn't. It is an understanding. The strongest survive..the meakest die. Women are stronger than men and human life in a womans eyes is the weakness in a man. Strengths are to keep man down for as long as she sees fit. Man is therefore the cure for their problems yet the very moment he realises this - she becomes the foremost person in the eyes of law makers and every other base over the globe. The planet is being run by women whether we choose for or to let it happen that is something else.

Yes, I think it would. Children need guidance. The problem is most families can't live on one income. I've done it for years and poverty isn't fun. Also, everything costs money these days. My kids come home from school with many so called projects that I'm expected to pay for almost daily. If you want your kids to advance you have to pay for it. Raising kids costs alot more than a roof over the head and food in the belly. Many people can't see that. You also have to take into consideration the mans accountability. There are alot of deadbeats out there nowadays, alot of young women are thrown into the world with children the first day they leave their parents and expected to fend for themselves. How does someone take care of a child when they can't even take care of themselves? Yet our government claims 16 is the legal age for consent, but you can't buy alcohol til your 21. Go figure. : )

why don't the working dads stay home. women may physically have the kids but they didn't do it by themselves. let the men stay home cutting the grass, fixing the car and have dinner ready for me when I get home so I can eat and be back out for a night with the girls. be real, men and women both need to work and tend to home. I don't think either should be able to stay at home and not work just because they have a label attached to them.
