I heard that it has something to do with the abundance of nitrogen in the atmosphere and where it falls in the light spectrum.

cuz of the sun i think the sunlight reflects off the ocean,

1. the morning when the sun comes out its yellow and red then it turns to blue during the day.

2. when the sun is so far west that it begins to not be completely seen the sky is orange and red very pretty

3 at night it slowly goes from blue to purple to dark blue like black its so dark because the low amount of light

so you see the sun at different times makes the sky different colors

also our planet is 80% water if it was 80% trees we would have a green sky during the day.

also the water is the thing that is blue because thats the only thing u can see in its abundance of colors.

The atoms in the atmosphere can only refract the color blue in the light spectrum.
