Most Iraqis still have only one hour of electricity a day because the Iraqi government still uses a primitive, vulnerable system of power generation. What do they have a lot of in Iraq (besides oil)? Sunshine!! Solar tiles, panels, I don't care-just use it.

all right as crazy as this sounds and i know the earth would freeze up but if it were planned ahead could we not create farms where plants are grown by means of hydroponics and although there would be a large amount of electricity to be generated but could it be really possible. Everything would have to be defrosted i guess. Iam no science grad so perhaps iam not weighing all the facts in - what do you think ?
