Noah got all the small to medium sized animals together & into the ark. Why this included roaches, we'll never know. The ark's purpose was to facilitate repopulation of the Earth after a mass purging from a flood. Noah got a message from God through a psychic dream he had.

Due to limited lumber supplies & naval engineering skills, most dinosaurs were just too big to fit into the ark. Some could; just after the geckos were loaded, a meteor hit the Earth, just like the scientists have told us. The meteor hit somewhere in one of the large oceans. The impact was so great that much of the world's water was displaced into the atmosphere and came down in the form of heavy rain. This flooded areas where there was no water previously. Land based dinosaurs drowned from the flooding & lack of food. Noah floated around for a long time until all the water fell & drained back to its previous locations.

It all makes sense now, the Ark, the meteor, the flooding, & the extinction of dinosaurs

Surely in this age of architecture and engineering the only issue would be finance and construction time? It is only a few miles to space (am I wrong?) I am sure it would take many years or decades for such a project but if someone justs builds up and up with a tower structure, it would eventually take man to space? The top floor penthouse suite would have a close up moon view, how cool would that be? It would be quite sensible when you consider the vast amounts of money NASA spend on their space shuttle missions.

According to the continental drift theory, would the Garden of Eden still be where the bible says it is or would the rivers have moved or something else to change the location.

This is a two fold question from a non-scientist.

1. How much water would it actually take to flood the entire earth to the point of a boat landing on tom of Mt Ararat in Turkey?

2. Would that be sufficient weight to screw up the earth's orbit? What would happen?

Out of interest I want to learn and see live how to read a richter scale etc. I am a hands on learner and want to see how they really work. for example I want to see currently what southern California's "heart beat" is. I want to see where I can find it on the internet. Thank you! Reason: I love Geology, Volcanology, Seismology, and would love to learn how to study it by reading the scales. I want to minor and eventually switch my major to Geology.
