John Glenn didn't seem to think that the "fireflies" were from his spacecraft. I know that his spacecraft was giving the landing bag deployed sensor, but I just wanted to get some added info on what all of you think.

I always notice that when you see the shuttle in orbit, the bay is poiting towards the earth instead of away from it. So you could say its flying upside down.

why do they do this?

is it safer?

I just purchased a WO megrez 90mm APO. I want to do star testing so I looked up a few web sites on it because ive never done it before and I wanted to test the lenes. They said you should see concentric rings but all I saw was one two rings. The pics they showed had 5-7 rings or so. Also I am getting a very small amount of comet tails on the stars on the very outer edge ( when in focus) . I guess my question is... how much does the quality of the eyepiece effect testing of the scope? should I be using Neglers.......I dont have one

I know I sound like a crack head but I do believe in UFO's and other life out there. I also believe the government knows about it (not just the U.S.) and they are hiding the truth from us. It will all come out someday!

i understand the big bang theory in principle...the rapid expansion of the universe etc...my question is....is this repeatable?..after a while everything will slow down...start contracting again....does it all get sucked back inward until a critical point is reached and than...bang starts over again? has this been going on for eternity...and we has humans just got the luck of the draw this go round?
