very good question!! No person can accurately answer this question as they are just suspecting it. But we can reason out somethings based on the current facts.
I view towards ur question is affirmative because since the universe is unending there has to be life somewhere or the other. I infact believe in multiverse (having more than one universe). And like the previous answerers I too tell rumours about Area 51 is not true as it is just a secret base of US but exception would be this

and crop circles are just attempts made by the farmers to gain media attention. Most of the photographs about UFO's(I am not sure about the above picture in the link) are photoshopped.
The only proof that can make the people convince about UFO's are taking a live video of what they have seen. Hope people would be convinced by this
But remember aliens in astronomy means any living thing outside the Earth ranging from a micro-organism to a complex creature. So it need not be in human form
Have a nice day :)

There are two possibilities:
1.) There are UFO's (as in alien spacecraft visiting Earth in the past, now or in the future)
2.) There are no UFO's (as in alien spacecraft visiting Earth in the past, now or in the future)
Only one of these possibilities can be proven: option 1, by actually finding a physical spacecraft with alien life inside.
The other one cannot be proven because the lack of having found alien spacecraft does not prove they don't exist - only that they haven't been found.
Furthermore, not being able to prove alien life IS out there doesn't mean it isn't either. The argument that is hasn't been found YET can always be used.
If I was an alien, I don't know if I would want to make my presence known to humanity or if I'd want to visit Earth to begin with. Why do we assume we are somehow the 'stars' of the universe such that aliens would be so driven to contact us? Then, using that assumption, we take it even further and assume that since Earth is CLEARLY the hotspot of the universe that lack of proof of visitation means either there are no aliens or the government has covered it up.
That's like an ant in the rainforest KNOWING humans don't exist using the logic that if we did, surely we would have visited the colony by now.
To an alien capable of inter stellar travel, we are ants.
Lastly, UFO's.... I saw a plane and I couldn't tell if it was a 747 or a DC-10. Technically, that plane was an Unidentified Flyin Object (UFO).

The prevailing scientific mood is cautious optimism. We keep scanning the sky in hopes of finding a radio signal somewhere, but so far, after about 40 years of searching, we have fouind nothing suggesting life or intelligence elsewhere. This is said with the realization that we may need to search for millennia before ever picking up a signal.
As far as ETs being here in space ships, etc., that is considered a possibility MANY orders of magnitude less likely.
Oh, if you meant the truth, being whether or not they have been here and it's being kept a secret? I don't believe any such thing has ever been documented, despite popular assertions about Area 51. That's just another myth. In other words, we *have* been told the truth. No ET life has ever been discovered, here or anywhere else.

i already know the truth because ive applied it all to science. did u know the estimated speed for a UFO by 'experts' is 5000 mph. it would take millions of years for it to reach us from the nearest star. and the government have hide anything. everyone knows their horrible at that. ain't never been a scandal in the white house that we didn't know about.
im sure there is life out there somewhere. but its not here. to much time to get here. that is no way that they are within a few dozen lightyears from us because we are monitoring for radio waves that reach earth from space and have received none. and guess what? its not even the government thats doing the monitoring.

UFOs seen by humans are actually Top secret Military Test flights to test new concept aircraft based on diifferent peopulsion systems.
aliens do exist in outer space. some civilizations use energy from their entire galaxy, other use energy from their suns.
they don't need to contact us because it would be absolutely useless.
we still use the primitive gas and coal resources for getting energy. nuclear technology is not widespread and is used only in a few countries.
what is the point of coming to earth travelling billions of light years? what? don't tell me that they come to check out our....well, you know alll those probing stories and abductions.
but someday in the future wew will meet them and learn from them. that may take another 3000 years of technology at our currentt rate of progress.

The truth is that these other planets are just too far away. It takes millions of years just for the light from them to reach us. I'd like to think there is life on other planets, but they are just too far away.As for "Area 51", that was closed down and moved sometime in the 1990's !

I recently read a statistic that estiminated the probability of "other humans" at 1 for every 100 billion Galaxies.
It seems unlikely anyone could "aim" or "steer" a craft that far.

Hi. I hope not. Can you imagine if they are just studying our quaint technology? We can't even leave the orangutans alone. And the planet! We will not look very smart to an outside observer.
