In the future, perhaps in this century, we will see the rise of a lunar colony!
How will this government work? Will the moon have territories claimed by the countries that have landed there? Or will it be an independent nation?

I'm totally entranced with this Veil Nebula.... but what forces, solar 'winds', star explosions, etc, whatEVER, would leave dust in such graceful tracings as these?.... do they move as the astronomers take successive pictures of them over the years?.....

I have a question about time travel, and I'm going to use a South Park episode as an example. In the trapper keeper episode, someone comes back from the future to destroy Cartman's trapper keeper because it eventually becomes the ruler of the world. What I don't understand is if he destroyed it, the trapper keeper would have never taken over the world, so he would have never existed, which means he would have never come back to destroy it, so then it would take over the earth. It's just a big cycle.. Am I looking at it wrong or what? I don't think time travel really is possible or anything, its just confusing.

Someone murdered my ex and I am wondering if they can pull up satellite images of the place they found her body and maybe find the vehicle that must have been there?

I don't want to believe this crap, but I need information opposing the belief of this planet?
The only thing I have is common sense:
IF the planet does have an orbit similar to a comet's, then wouldn't the people on the planet die because it's so cold?
IF the planet did interact with our solar system some years ago, why did it collide with earth and not mars or jupiter? Especially Juptier, because of it's huge mass wouldn't it pull the planet towards it, or even stabilize it?
What the hell do the sumarians know anyway?

It takes astronomical precision and a army just to launch a space craft from Earth.

How are we supposed to get back once we land there? It's a literal death sentence.

Does anyone else see this problem?

If we made a model of the Milky Way that had the diameter of the Earth, how big would the Earth itself be in this shrunken model? (Assume that the Milky Way's diameter is 50 kpc for this problem.)

Here's are some examples:

"What's outside the universe?"
"What happened before the big bang?"
"How many stars are there?"
"Do you believe in aliens?"
"Did we really go to the moon?"

How many others can you think of?

Has anyone seen comet Holmes? And if recently how does it look? Can you see a tail? It is very cloudy in my area of the country and I can't get a good look at it. I saw it twice when it was basically just a small fuzzy patch of light.

I saw an article on CNN.com this morning, that China, Japan, India, Europe, and the US have all sent probes to the moon to look for Helium 3 to use for energy here on earth.

Doesn't anyone think of what would happen if we start mining the moon, what it will do to Earth?

If fusing He3 (helium three) molecules found on the moon works to create a non-radio active nuclear energy, how long will it last and how will all the different countries in competition for it end up sharing the moon? Or will they?
