We landed on the Moon. This is not an uninformed, subjective opinion, but rather an incontrovertible scientific fact.

If the landings were hoaxes, explain the following:
1) Radio telescopes across the world detected the Apollo transmissions only when pointed at the Moon. If there hadn't been a ship on the Moon, they wouldn't have heard anything. This is how the USSR knew that the landings were real.
2) Three missions left retroreflectors on the Moon. Professional astronomers have detected these reflectors thousands of times and use them to precisely measure the distance to the Moon.
3) Geologists have scrutinized the Moon rocks and have positively concluded that the rocks formed on the Moon. There's no way for NASA to have faked them.
4) No scientist questions the lunar landings. Would the average Joe really notice a scientific irregularity that the world's greatest scientific minds would overlook? Of course not.

On top of all of that, there's absolutely no evidence of a conspiracy. None. The 'waving flag' and all of the other "evidence" in favor of a conspiracy have been soundly refuted by scientists. The conspiracy theory is little more than bad science, faulty common sense, and smoke and mirrors. See my source for a detailed refutation of the conspiracy argument.

There's absolutely no room for opinion here - the landings happened.

The Soviet Union had the most to gain by exposing the hoax, had the most scientific equipment, money, and resources to uncover the hoax, and still has no problem with the claim. If as that is not enough, and if the USA actually did commit the most amazing hoax under the watchful eyes of the entire world, completely documented it, etc, THE USA HAD THE BRAVADO TO ACTUALLY REPEAT THE HOAX, NOT ONCE, NOT TWICE, NOT THREE TIME, NOT FOUR TIMES, NOT JUST FIVE TIMES, BUT REPEATED FAKING MOON MISSIONS SIX MORE TIMES, JUST TO GIVE THE RUSSIANS EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO EXPOSE THE HOAX.

now let's say the USA is going to try and pull off this lame hoax that the HB'ers can see through in minutes; and they know the USSR will fall for it. Then the USA would of had to know that the USSR are the lamest, stupidest, morons on the planet without any possible chance of beating us to the moon!! The proof is in the massive amounts of evidence. Lunar rocks and soil samples, photos, video, film, personal testimonies, surviving hardware, technical documentation, etc. That video proves absolutely nothing.

Let me point something out about the man who made that video. The astronauts KNOW who he is. They KNOW he makes money by slandering them and the organisation they worked for back then. They KNOW he will always twist their words. That man lies openly. His website includes factually incorrect statements that he KNOWS are wrong. He claims some Apollo footage is only available via his website, but I know for a fact it is available from at least two other sources, and in completely unedited form too. What's more, he claims to have evidence that blows open the biggest conspiracy ever, but he wants money from each and every person who wants to see that evidence. Buzz Aldrin thumped him because he LIED to get Aldrin to interview, and followed him, attemtping to block his exit from the venue, while calling him a fraud, liar and thief. That kind of behaviour deserves a punch in the face.

And finally, he invites the astronauts to swear on a Bible that they really walked on the Moon. Notably, some of them do so. Does he then change his story about the landings being faked? No, he just says those astronauts are going to hell for lying, while the ones who refused to swear have something to hide. He is the liar and fraud, not the astronauts.

I believe men really landed on the moon. I can give no ''proof'', but can give you a reasoned explanation of why I believe.

I am an engineer, and I understand the technoligy enough to know it is POSSIBLE.

The government is not the only entity with the ability to track the vehicle on it's trip. A lot of amature space entusiasts with telescopes, adn radio recievers followed the flight.

We were ingaged in a ''cold war'' with the USSR, in which the moon race was an important ''rocket science'' development tool. The space race was a ''happy face'' on this.
