Say this year you find out that your dad's best friend died in a fire in 1983. Soon, time travel is discovered. If you go to 1983 and save your dad's friend, wouldn't a paradox result? If you save him in 1983, the future you had no reason to go back to 1983 in the first place. Right? Plus, what would happen to everyone in the future who knew the guy died? Would he suddenly materialize? Doesn't time travel sound impossible because of these problems?

Jupiter, Saturn, yada. This seems to be the stuff of stars. Now I am no physics or mathematical student (let alone a genius). They sound to me like failed stars. Let's assume they are. My question is this, "Would it still be possible for them to 'ignite?'"

I know the sun has strong gravity. But If our sun pulled our planet from some other place and pulled us this close why doesn't it keep on pulling us into it? Basically why doesn't the suns gravity(pull) suck us in the sun itself?

Asking those that have actual knowledge of the capabilities of the equipment. Not intended to start a moon landing hoax debate. Thanks!

Is this even a valid question? If a star emits some photons, it has effectively transferred some of it's energy into light right? Now, this energy may spend eons tied up in a photon so as long as it does not hit anything. Does this happen? If so, does this represent a significant ammount of energy?

Last week, for the first time ever, I noticed that the moon, while in a crescent stage , was very, very royal blue on the inside of the crescent. I found it very odd and watched it off and on foe over three hours as it moved across the sky. It did not change. Has anyone else ever seen this?

If you could participate in a hot debate over the need for a new definition of a planet...
What would be the main point you'd argue? Would you be for or against it?, why and why not?, and where is your stance in the controversy it's created surrounding Pluto? Was demoting Pluto...the right decision?, why or not?

(Not asking for an essay, this is part of a research project)

I need to make a poster about reconnaissance satellites. The problem is, there isn't much declassified information about them because they're mostly classified by the government. I was hoping someone could help me out. On the poster I need to include: general weight and size, structure, what instruments these satellites use, their primary user, specific tasks of reconnaissance satellites, their type of orbit and typical orbital path and height, and other related information, like their history, development, and future. Thank You !!!
