Space in infinity. It never ends and it never begins. At least as we know thing right now. That is not to say in 300 or more years we will go exploring the stars like Star Trek.

A lot of simply incorrect answers here.
Most likely is that space is finte, but never ends. If that sounds contradictory, imagine travelling over the surface of the earth. There is no edge or boundary, but it is still of finite size. If you keep on going long enough, you end up back where you started.

Einstein has a theory of how long it would take to circumnavigate the universe. He's was lots smarter than me but I think mankind has a need for a beginning and and end and perhaps infinity is a concept we really can't understand. I also like the symbol for infinity-It is a neverending loop-and that is food for thought.

This is a paradox, we live in space and time therefore we can not comprehend space ending, we can neither contemplate it going on forever, both seem immposible.

Space is closed. Imagine reducing 3D space into a 2D surface, and overlaying it on a sphere. Everything will eventually collapse on itself.

well, if we did know it would be a scienctific discovery. i do think it ends, and no i dont think it's "infinity". it'll end, but theres not nough time to go that far. plus your shuttle would probably blow up 0.000000000000000000000001 there. lol.
according to "the universe" show, it says one day the universe will get so big it'll explode, and be nothing but what looks like bubbly water. thats billions of years from now.
well, actually, the big bang is how the universe began, about the size of a marble, you know, whatever put it there ["god", or any other beliefs.and like .00000001 seconds after the universe was in a "marble" it exploded and created the earth. thats the big bang theory.

Space is ever expanding. The only place I could think of is a black holes singularity.
