If the person doesn't age at all relative to the people on Earth, (the whole Universe even), then would the Universe age infinately relative to the travelling person, in other words, get to the end of its cycle (if there is one)?

I remember in 1998/1999 i was in grade 6, and we were at a soccer practice with my school soccer team. I live in southern ontario (kitchener).
It was very cold, im thinking either oct before winter. and we were playing, when all of a sudden I looked in the sky and there was this HUGE ball in the air a fiery one. it had a HUGE tail and was really big. It looked like the size of the sun from earth as in how the sun looks to us every day.
and i remember i was like OMG is it going to hit earth? but it was going and going until it went over the forest and i couldnt see it anymore. My teacher even saw it, and was surprised.

does anyone know which comet this could have been?
im REALLY curious :S

also, try not to give any links, and don't use any big terminology a 13 year old wouldn't understand.

All i know is that earth is a chunk of blown up something else.

also, can you answer a few questions?
1. If the big bang, was in fact an explosion, how did earth come to be around 80% water?
2. If the original thing that earth was from was a star, aren't stars balls of gas, therefore, earth can't be...well, earth?
3. Of course everything on earth that is existing now wasn't existant before....so is evolution really that complicated and advanced?

I'M SHOUTING THIS LOUD AND REALLY CLEAR, JUST SO THERE IS NO MIS-UNDERSTANDING OR MISTAKING MY MESSAGE....

Okay, here I go... Will all you teachers who manage to read this, please pass this message on to your students.

1) There are no such things as alien beings walking amongst us.

2) There are no extra-terrestrial spaceships on the moon.

3) Our radio signals cannot be detected and demodulated by alien (message me and I'll give you the technical reasons as to why not) beings.

4) For the sake of common sense, educate your students, and give them some sort of education that will give them the skills they will need for their future benefit, and that of mankind.
5) Tell these things to your students every day, so that they won't come into the science and history answer forum and ask questions as if they were three-year-olds.
Remember. Students are only as wise and as educated as YOU make these people... Get a grip, you're being paid.

Thank you for your time.
Antony

I heard rumors from a friend that the Earth's magnetic field will cause us problems, when the planet tilts on it's axis.
what else is possible? or would it be a combination of man and the universe? I'm a skeptic, and would rather look at the scientific explanation than the subjective one.
Would the planets core feel the pressure from an outside source? if so, how could other types of energy reach us, to actually cause the end of mankind.
I don't know...that is why I am here to ask you.

when you look through a reflector telescope, do you see the secondary mirror? I mean does it block the center of the view.
I never looked through one, and have always wondered.

Do you believe that you exist in all worlds as you are now, as a different person or just existing in this one? I personally think that since there are different worlds and different possibilities, I could be anything now, such as dead, a killer, a child celebrity, a grown adult, etc. Do you think like this most of the time as I do?

The whole theory of the Big Bang as the point of creation for the universe falls down on one simple point. This is the fact that for an explosion to occur it needs something to explode into. If nothing existed before the Big Bang then there was no platform for the explosion to have taken place. In which case it means that if such an enormous bang had once occurred it could only have done so within the framework of a setting which was every bit a part of the physical world as the universe is today. In other words the Big Bang exploded into a physical universe that was already extant before it occurred. Either way this proves that the Big Bang could not have been responsible for the creation of all matter.

One night a few years ago, me and my brother and cousin and stepbrother, we were all outside in the backyard at night. Im guessing it was about 11 PM or so. And we're just sittin there and theres this big, tall grain-processing building. And we just see this seemingly small red light fly from the sky and go behind that building. I know that it wasnt an airplane because 1) i know what plane lights look like and 2) it flew down at an angle that'd be unusual for a plane and 3) we didnt hear any airplane and it was a quiet night. You'd know if it was a plane, on a quiet night, we would've heard it. It was just a single red light. It went behind the building and we didnt see it come back out.
