I heard rumors from a friend that the Earth's magnetic field will cause us problems, when the planet tilts on it's axis.
what else is possible? or would it be a combination of man and the universe? I'm a skeptic, and would rather look at the scientific explanation than the subjective one.
Would the planets core feel the pressure from an outside source? if so, how could other types of energy reach us, to actually cause the end of mankind.
I don't know...that is why I am here to ask you.

It's crap. Pardon my use of the vernacular, but there's good reaason for me to say that.

The ancient Mayan calendar (you remember them, the ones who thought that sacrificing their children was the way to ensure their society's survival) ends in the year we know as 2012. Probably because it was so far in the future that they just couldn't be bothered doing more for a while. Before they got around to it again, their civilisation collapsed. Bugger, eh?

Certain greedy people have decided to make a bit of money from other gullible people by saying that, because the Maya calendar only went to 2012, this means the world will end in 2012. There is no reason to think that. It's like tearing December off your wall calendar, and declaring that the world must be ending in November because you don't have a calendar for after that.

"The mayans were known to be incredibly acurate" (sic). I'm glad they're not in charge of my tax return.

I do believe something is gonna happen in 2012, I study gnosis and there are 2 predictions:

a) a Giant planet whose orbit belongs to another solar system but crosses through our solar system every X years will tilt the earth axis causing massive destruction. The planet is called Hercolubus.

b) third world war as described in the bible, even you have to see that comming, Iran will develop nuclear capability and attack Israel and that will be affect the atmosphere, oil supply will be suspended, and war will reign, it will be chaos, and this even fits the description in the bible.
I mean just by using logic you know something is gonna happen soon.

Some prophecies and years didn't turn out to happen, but you must remember the future is not written and it can always be changed.
On the other hand, the mayans were known to be incredibly acurate, thus something could happen in 2012 for real.

Nothing will happen. But for a "skeptic" you seem to believe a lot of nonsense quite easily. No offense. Just an observation.

Any and all of the "phenomena" you describe can be easily ruled out with high school science.
