I was outside our house about 9:00pm and saw a bright light floating just above the tree tops slowly shining down on the ground. It was a large light but there was no sound. We lived at the end of town and there was a field between us and it. There was also a railroad track right next to the trees. It wasn't a train and it wasn't a helicopter, there was no noise. My husband and I jumped into the car, like idiots and drove out there but saw nothing. This was several years ago.

Okay, so you know how the earth spins in an orbit aroubd the sun? Well, if you made some sort of machine that went faster than the speed of light that went the opposite direction of the eath's orbital spin, couldn't you go back in time?

o.k. my teacher said that scientists are baffled that the universe is expanding instead of decreasing but i was thinking if the big bang theory was suppose to be the biggest explotion in history cant the expanding be just the left over shock wave from the explotion.

I am aware of "warp drives", hyperspace, worm holes, inter-dimensional travel. Or do you know of any other possibilities? Which method do you think will ultimately work?

Why?
