Twelve men have walked on the Moon. They are:
Neil Armstrong & Buzz Aldrin (Apollo 11)
Pete Conrad & Alan Bean (Apollo 12)
Alan Shepard & Edgar Mitchell (Apollo 14)
Dave Scott & Jim Irwin (Apollo 15)
John Young & Charlie Duke (Apollo 16)
Gene Cernan & Jack Schmitt (Apollo 17)
On all six of those missions a crewman stayed behind in the command/service module. They were:
Mike Collins (11), Dick Gordon (12), Stu Roosa (14), Al Worden (15), Ken Mattingly (16), Ron Evans (17)
On top of those there were two missions that were lunar orbit only, and Apollo 13 which flew around the Moon once after an oxygen tank exploded, crippling the spacecraft. The crews on those flights were:
Frank Borman, Jim Lovell & Bill Anders (Apollo 8)
John Young, Tom Stafford, Gene Cernan (Apollo 10)
Jim Lovell, Fred Haise & Jack Swigert (Apollo 13).
So, if you look back over the list of 27 names you'll see that three men (Lovell, Young & Cernan) went to the Moon twice, though only Lovell was unlucky enough not to get to walk on it on his second trip, so in total 24 men have been to the Moon, 12 of whom have walked on its surface.

YES!!! While the conspiracy theorists will give a 5-second statement about why it was impossible, if you listen to the 5-minute explanation, it makes perfect sense. The environment of space and the moon is VERY different to Earths (and may run counter-intuitive at first), where the theorists make their assumptions.
For example, the radiation belts around the Earth, they could kill someone. Well, the Apollo missions went through it, the astronauts were exposed to the radiation, and survived. Yes, the radiation is dangerous, IF YOU STICK AROUND, but the spacecraft went through it in the matter of minutes and experienced the same dose as someone who got several xrays at the same time. The proof is in the fact that most lunar astronauts have developed cancers at a higher rate than the average person since their trips.
Listen to the explanations rather than belive the hype of the conspiracy theorists.
You want real proof that we went, fine. The USSR, our Cold War antagonists, must have had every telescope and sattelite pointed at the Apollo missions to spy on and record for their own sake. If we had faked it, they would have known! And dont you think they would have gloated and issued America's embarrassment on every front page newspaper in the world if they could have? They didnt, so went must have went.
We went. We can barely keep a specifc Senators' preference for children secret, so how could we keep thousands of people in the government and NASA quiet for 38 years?

a sprint sunlight is powerful for you. we desire the sunlight to stay to tell the story. The moonlight wont make you lose your tan faster. I actual have "moon bathed" even though it replaced into for the non secular energies that the Moon provides, not actual ones. there is likewise non secular power interior the sunlight too. that's a stability. consistent with danger you ought to objective and include the sunlight on the same time as that's stable and probably you ought to objective to be greater accepting of your visual attraction. you have gotten loads of time to be easy in wintry climate time. BTW, i'm very easy skinned, so even though i'm on no account a easy white, i understand what that's want to look completely distinctive with a tan. I merely approximately look like a distinctive person. I actual have found out to settle for it as yet another element of me nevertheless. i don't think of that's healthy to avert the sunlight...over exposure is undesirable too. Moderation is top. ;)

For pity's sake, why do have have to go through this nonsense every week or so?
Of course the Americans landed on the Moon. If they were conning us all about this, don't you think the Russians would have said something?
They went to the Moon.

When in the science museum last week, my flatmate saw a guy that apparently was the spitting image of the comic book guy from The Simpsons. According to him he'd "really like to go to space, but it costs 5 billion pounds to go to space, it's just far too much money to go to space". He was seemingly quite annoyed about the whole thing.
