It's pointless to memorize a number because we keep finding new ones. I'm sure there's really alot more than however many we know of now. Honestly, alot of it is based on what you consider a moon is. If a moon is just another object in orbit of Jupiter than the amount will be huge.

With no size requirement, earth would have thousands of moons because of all the space junk we've left in orbit.
