For the moment, yes. Soon after, humans will have to move out of this earth and begin to settle in another earth-like planet.

Well to it's unique conditions yes but inconvineient. You see asteroids fly to Jupiter and they gain momentum and usually flings the rocks at us so yeah I guess so. Kinda lucky that it has the perfect conditions for life (Nature must gamble all lot to get a good planet to grow on)

Actually Jupiter is our guardian angel! Without it we would already have experianced global extinction several times over! just another reason why our planet is so special.
