I know how to get an object into space?
An object like a camera if protected from a vaccum could be made out of a strong metal such as tungsten and could be made to withstand a vaccum.

If a hydrogen ballon was big enough, it could carry it upto about 60km up.
But then it would have to go fre-fall about 0.5km (which is falling slowly at this altitude) so that it gets chance to do the next manuvoure.

It would be wieghted on the bottom to free-fall bottom-side down, and then the jets of gas would propell it out of the Earth's atomosphere.

I think it also may be possible to get it down with a parashoot. But it would be a very very long glide.
The gas jets could be used to guide the object back down.

A transponder could transmit a signal to my computer which would produce an image of the Earth from Outter Space on my laptop.

Total cost = £500

It is important to add that this would be a continuous jet of gas or in pulses, not one massive punch.

Is this possible?

We've been doing this for decades now and the Space Station still isn't built. There seems to be problems with each launch, and it's just a matter of time before the next disaster. We put men on the Moon in 1969 with slide rule technology yet somehow got bamboozeled into this boring, senseless waste of money. At least in the '60's we got Tang for all the billions we spent.

I was watching the discovery channel, they where talking about when the meteorite hit that killed off the dinosaures. I was wondering what it would look like. If a big wave would form or fiery pieces would rain on the plait burning unmatched.

Since the universe is expanding, that meanse it is growing larger. But what is it expaning into? Is it expanding into pure nothingness? If so, is this pure nothingness the same as intergalactic space?
Just curious of what scientists currently believe about that. Thanks

Hi! Why is it that high altitude baloons can't be used to launch satalites into low orbit? I mean, if baloons can go 30 miles into the atmosphere, then why can't they leave the atmosphere and launch a satalite at say, 210 miles? Basicly my question is what stops a baloon from going into orbit?
