its a theory, no one really knows but its possible. some scientists visualize out universe as kind of like a bubble floating in a vast something... its hard for me to explain but if you want to know more about things like that you HAVE to check out a book called "parallel world" or "parallel universes" by michio kaku

Nobody knows. It's a theory based on the premise that our universe had to come from something. The theory posits that our universe is just another bubble in an endless stream of bubbles percolating from an infinite scalar field of potential energy. The problem I have with the theory is that it is too busy. There is no upper limit as to how many universes there can be, and that you could not possibly reduce the number by enumerating all the "twigs" of all the current universes to the "branches" to the "trunk" to the "roots" of this particular tree of evolution. It's all too much.

I suppose it is possible. This one we are in seems never ending in size and plenty of worlds to not need another one but what do I know. Your boy Einstein said the Universe, Earth and life is too complex to know all the answers but our imagination is very powerful and we should use it to ponder all possibilities. I personally hope of being able to explore the wonders of the universe and the only way to do that is with eternity.

It is plausible, however, due to the fact that each universe is self-containing of all matter, energy, dimensions and information (or so we can predict) obtaining evidence of any may well be impossible due to information not being able to leave or enter another universe.

multiple universes or multiverse. that means we exist in every universe at different times. i think this explains why we can't change our past. when space travelers travel in time, they travel between universes. any way this is just a theory.

In fact, they theorize that each "universe is really just a 'snapshot' in what we consider to be 'time' and that each instant we are actually existing in a different universe.

this is a theory that made a good movie..some one would be your direct opposite in another universe..maybe that guy would be good looking and rich and have a lot of friends and have a good looking mate...and have a good job...just the opposite of my life..lol..i sure hope he is enjoying his life...lol

Anything is possible out there, space is so huge. I don't think that we have the technology to really know right now, though....

It's a pure mathematical contrivance with no proof as yet. There is no reason to believe it.

Each galaxy is a universe in itself, so there are multiple universes.
