What I want to know is what causes a cresent moon.I get a lunar eclipse I understand about the earth passing between the sun and moon blocking the sun. What causes the shadow during a cresent moon?I know I can Google this but this is more fun! lol

if you measured a value for Hubble's constant of Ho = 30.0km/s/Mly? assume that the expansion rate has remained unchanged during the history of the universe.

Are there experiments that provide evidence of the expanding universe?

there is a common experiment explaining or modeling the expansion of the universe. that is, by inflating a balloon (as the universe) and marking dots on the balloon (as galaxies). the more the balloon (universe) expands, the futher away the dot (galaxies) move away from each other. thus, kinda explaining the fact that the further away galaxies and stars are away from the eart, the faster it is moving outward away from us.

there are variations of this experiment, but very similar. does anyone know of any other different experiments that provide evidences of the expanding universe?

the balloon experiment is done. but i want to try out different experiments. anyone have ideas or if you already know of another proven experiments? sources would be nice as i could follow it precisely. thanks :)

T-Rings for this camera?

if the universe is constantly expanding doese time become shorter?

i.e. the older I get the more expansion has happened the less time I seem to have.Days seemed to last forever when young but seem like hours as time creeps by.

Do you think there are OTHER humans somewhere in the universe?

This is a question out of pure curiosity. we know how life began on earth, from little micro-organism's and bacteria, to complex intelligent life forms like humans.

Well do you think that MAYBE the same exact life processes that occurred on earth, happened on ANOTHER planet somewhere?

In that case, is it possible that there are other humans EXACTLY like us here on earth, but just from another planet?

Have you ever thought of that?
