Does anyone know a solar feature that occurs on the photosphere?
If sunspots are to the sun then (blank) is to the earth?

The solar feature that occurs on the photosphere is a magnetic storm called a sunspot. Thus sunspots are to the sun as a hurricane is to the earth.
