I'm in Canberra, and I've read the article on http://www.itwire.com.au/content/view/9587/1066/
it says that it will be visible from all seven continents on the Earth but does not say what time in Australia. I've never seen it before and I just want to find out if it'll really be visible from Canberra.

If no one has any idea, can you let me know where I can get more information from (better from Australian website or institution)

A few nights ago i saw a meteorite land a few hundred feet from my house, should I go look for it? I have read that meteorites can sometimes sell for 300 dollars a gram. How do i know if the rock landed, or just disintegrated? Please share any personal knowledge or experiences, i want to be rich soon so hurry.

i was just thinking about this question, and want to know if anyone knows. I mean wouldn't the metiorite still be in the hole... ? meaning, there wouldn't really be a hole, or crater?

I assume the Mars rover has a small antenna with a low power transmitter. If this is the case how does that signal get reicieved all the way on earth? Is there some sort of satellite relay system? It seems to me that it would be difficult to discern the signal from all the random noise. Maybe some sort of special encoding is used on the signal. I don't know....does anyone know the answer?
