Okay, so recently i've been just looking at things about the world ending in the near future after a friend mentioning something of the related topic. I was wondering, is it all true or crap? It's really beginning to worry me... so any advice or answers would really help :)

Mine's ORION, because there are so many bright and different types of stars, plus the nebulae and galaxies in it... and very easy to recognize and use as a landmark to find other constellations. And the mythology is very cool too!

The only thing I dont like is when it rises in Oct. winter is on it's way.

What id like to know is If you took a small Canyon say about 300 meters deep & you had a heavy power supply & a "magic" Air generator (oxy/nitro mixutre), & dammed it at etehr end,

Would that canyon fill properly?
what i mean is if you pumped continuly (air, no dodgy remarks)
into the canyon would it be habbitable, i mean could you breath it? would there be enough pressure? (dont even go down the Radiation path)

And if it did work, & it leaked how fast Verry roughly would it leak?
would it be slow enough for plants to take over?

what do you make of this? Notice Moon Uranus in Aries-kids born 1930s experienced world war at about 10years of age. Maybe 2012 is not what we think it might be, but the beginings of huge power struggles. If it is a take over bid for world power then its working in the background right now.
anyone else got ideas.

I believe that we do not know what happens when we die. That why I will not rule any possiblity out. But i must say I wish I believe in heaven because it is such a lovely thought and I believe that people who believe in heaven has such positive outlook and are not scared of death as they believe that they are going somewhere great and I don't understand why people want to take that away from them by trying to prove otherwise.

I know the most widely accept theory states that the universe is roughly 15 billion years old. This is accomplished by the fact that the most distant objects we can detect are approximately 15 billion light years away. but if we can see objects that far away in every direction then that means either the earth is at the exact center of the universe or there are other things beyond that point which we can not currently detect.

That's just something that has bothered me about cosmology.
