If we could see the picture, it would be nice.

However, if what you see is several stars making an arc around one star that seems to be still, then the answer is A.

Take a look at the picture before you post and look for a circular sweeping of the stars. These stars will all appear to rotate around the the Pole Star/North Star (Polaris) (actually, it's the earth rotating). If the time lapse is long enough, the stars will form what appear to be concentric circles around the Pole Star.

Look at the photo and identify the placement of these concentric circles. If they are dead center, then the camera was pointing north, if they are to the left, then the camera was pointing straight east, if they are to the right, the camera was pointing straight west, etc..
