nope. The physics does not add up. We are stuck on this rock forever. Besides, where would you go? Even if you could travel more effectively through space do you think you will find a place better than our home? There's no place like home. There's no place like home. There's no place like home. Now tap your little red ruby slippers and go home.

If you are into conspiracy theories or fantasies, you might check into the Philadelphia Experiment that was supposedly conducted during WWII. This reportedly involved a Navy experiment designed to hide ships from radar and sight. Supposedly, strong magnetic fields surrounding the Eldrige achieved invisibility and resulted in time travel as well.

Although this seems to be far fetched, I like the idea that someday we will find technology that is now associated with UFOs and science fiction.

Once you make the assumption that time travel is possible, it opens some interesting ideas about what future generations would do with such capability.

Physics does seem to support the idea of multiple universes and let's hope that travel can be achieved in both time and space.

I think we Will be able to transit from one place to another in less time than light would take. Whether it would be by means of "space folding" or something else I don't know.

Interestingly enough: It has been proven mathematically that space can be compressed in front of you and extended behind you... Unfortunately the energy needed for that is immense and we can't generate it yet. But people also said that cold fusion would be impossible and now there are plans to build the first fusion reactor in France...

Yes! I for one, am a firm believer in time traveling. I mean people said the same thing about the Earth being flat and humans flying.

"If humans were meant to fly, they would have wings."

How many times I have heard that? The question is not SHOULD we do it or not but the question can we the ability to do it one day and I say yes.

Sorry, but "bending time and space," if the expression really meant anything (which it doesn't), is beyond the reach of human technology forever.

No technology will ever allow us to exceed the speed of light!

it would take gravity to do this. since we have no way of 'creating' gravity without using mass, id have to say no.
