The astrologers, while preparing the horoscope, take into account the planetary positions at the time of our birth which affect our personalities and consequently our lifes. However, they do not take into account the effect of the nearest planet i.e Earth, which logically should have the greatest effect.

I watched a video on Google Video. It was a BBC documentary and from the way I saw it black holes are the most destructive force in the universe. But I've often heard of the dream of sending some sort of probe/satellite into one. Is it possible?

Like you know how if you are far away from the radio station reception is bad (because the radio waves get distorted or whatever) how clear would the radio signals that have already been sent out? Would they be totally distorted?

ALSO do radio signals eventually die out or do they just keep on going?

I live in Australia and saw it a couple of hours ago, it stayed visible for ages. When I noticed it, it was up fairly high and eventually dropped down out of sight although it was visible for about 20 mins. (from when I saw it). It had a huge illuminous glow flowing out behind it.

There is this famous paradox of two twins: one goes off to space in a spaceship at a very high speed and the other twin stays back.
Apparently, when the twin returns to Earth she will be younger than her sis who stayed back in Earth.
How can this be...... the Earth twin will see her sis's time slow down. Similarly, the traveling twim will see her sis in Earth has slower time....
So whats the paradox here?
And i ve heard that its the traveling twins accelaration when turning back to return to Earth is the most important point here!
please kindly explain this paradox to me....

Our bone structure is optimized for Earth's gravity. The bigger the planet, the bigger the gravity. If any living creature ( alien for example ) would to be living in a similar planet like earth, but twice its size, is it possible to have giant spiders, monkeys, fish ?
Comment your awswer/opinion.

Apart from the unsolved mystery of the universe's origin what do you think might be the origin of universe's rules? I am talking about physics/mathematics/chemistry/etc. rules, the ones that scientists study and discover through their study of material reality. Please try to give serious answers. Thanks for that.

From my hometown in South India, whenever I look up at the moon's crescent, only the bright portion is visible. The dark portion is absolutely pitch-black and invisible, which makes the crescent appear like a white cardboard cut-out in the sky. But here in the UK, I can see a VERY thin line connecting the 2 tips of the crescent. And there appears to be a thin, sparse white filling inside the dark portion of the crescent. That is, the connecting line and the filling give the viewers a clear picture of the moon's circumference, here in the UK. But when viewed from South India, this connecting line and filling are not there. Any explanations why?
