all australians, if you look out you window to the south you can see a comet pointing to the horizon. how long will it be there? is there a website on it???

The comet is called McNaught. I am in South Africa, where we can also see it - I have been watching it the last 6 days. It is beautiful isn't it?? It was discovered by an australian in August 2006.

There is lots of info on the web - just type McNaught Comet. Or look for other answers on Yahoo answers - there is a few.

It was in the nothern hemisphere last week, but last monday it crossed into the southern hemisphere.
