....But I don't know what lenses are too powerful or aren't powerful enough. I saw Saturn a few nights ago. I have a 20mm, 3x barlow, 1.5 erecting eyepiece and a 16mm-6.8mm lense. I have a Galileo telescope. I've appreciate it if you would help. Thanks!

For example, can anyone tell me what's the nearest distance between 2 points on a sheet of paper? Most of them would say a straight line joining them would be the shortest distance. I read somewhere that it's actually zero. The trick is this, you fold the paper and woo! zero distance! This applies I think to this universe as well. For example you want to go to this place in maybe Saturn. If you have the power to fold space and time you would be there instantly! Sounds interesting but like impractical.

To add on the time travel, i think that the fact we can travel back in time only if we can go beyond the speed of light.(although i think we will break into massless particles before we hit it) but i think seriously maybe in the future when we invent more we can do this time travel.

I'm not sure if I've phrased the subject correctly, but I'm still unsure of the outcome of this classic contest.. Imagine that one day an alien comes and zap our moon, making it disappear.. Will we see the tide rises and falls before seeing the moon disappear? i.e. Will the influence of gravity be exerted faster than the speed of light? Of is C the ultimate speed limit of all things?

I want to see neat things like comets, satellites, different types of stars, and planets! I would fall in love with this telescope if it was right. Please help me find this telescope. My budget is as said $80-$160. I am a beginner so I do not want something too crazy. I want to start out according to my status, in this case, a beginner. I am in the US and please help me find good stores and good telescopes!

Answering that I am a nerd is not helpful so just move on...I may be a nerd but Im a 5'11 blonde blue eyed model nerd..and I dont care if you think Im a nerd and you are also a very insecure person to call people nerds. That being said I'd love to hear peoples REAL opinions.
