The transporter would end the world. People would beam bombs and blow each other to kingdom come.
The replicator would be cool. Anything you want. Takes a lot of the angst out of life.
The holodeck would be more addictive than crack. What, a room where I can go have a four-way with Claudia Schiffer, Angelina Jolie and Bea Arthur? Anytime I want? In the holodeck, you're basically God. Why would people leave?

First, you are not a nerd. It is a serious question about advancement of technology on the quality of life.
The use of controlled matter/anit-matter disingeratin as a source of energy would undoubtly solve a lot of earths problems. It could do more to eliminate pollution than all the laws in Californina. With cheap electic power, most people would probably use electric transportation instead of fossil fuels.
While teleportation would be nice, as Bill pointed out, it could be misused. For more on that, read some of Larry Niven's Known Space series. He use teleportation in his "universe" and did seveal stories on the possible criminal use of such a device.
Faster than light travel would be great, especially since they "warp" space and do not actually break the Relativity Speed Limit, however, without a source of almost unlimited energy, I don't see how it would be possible.
The medical dianostic tools avaliable would do wonders for medicine, in fact, some of the ideas in Star Trek have inspired some medical advances (note: inspired, not created, Roddenberry and crew had an idea and real scientist/technations took over.
Communicators, heck we have them now, they are called cell phones, and look what they have done for mankind. Now I can be annoyed no matter where I am.
OK, yes, I am a nerd, not only did I think of your question a long time ago, but also thought then through.

Teleporting.
If teleporting stations were established, this would eliminate or rather drastically reduce the need for cars and planes.
Not only that but it'd have a global impact. How many of us would suddenly start visiting other countries? Tourist attractions would explode.

The Holodeck was kind of a cool idea. Being able to reproduce any scene or scenario you could think of in the area of a singular enclosed space. I don't know what benefit it may have but it sure would be fun.

Their energy source from anti-matter would make all the difference. This is the key that would make their other technologies at least feasible. Wow, the transporters and replicators would be energy hogs!
