That star underneath the moon was the only one around the moon and it was glowing unusually bright. Is this just a dying star near the moon? And I know it's not the North Star because it was in the west.

something, etc., etc.

Then wouldn't existance at some point have to stop? It would come to the point where there is nothing else. There would have to be something such as a wall or we would end up where we started; but it can't go on and on infinately.

Is that not where I have taken you? Are you not done? OK then, if there's a start, must there not be an end? There must be. One can not exist without the other.

So, from box, to box, to box, we come to realization; there's nothing else to live in but this confinment. Also, what we make of it is what we have to live in. From death to death, to death, to where we started from!

I guess at some point we end up in a fish bowl. That's where I have take you, is it not? From bowl to bowl: to toilet bowl.

I know it depends on where at in space. Lets say where satellites are, like right outside our atmopshere where they orbit...I was thinking it would be much colder since there is nothing to hold heat in such as our atmosphere.

there is seriously alot of argument on both sides. our estimation is we could get back there in like 2012 and they estimated that in 1983. is that just lack of funding? it didn't take that long 40 years ago. i think the best argument we did land there is the integrity of the astronauts that worked for NASA at the time and all the staff of NASA and having to keep it a secret if it was a hoax. plus these other countries could have know where the communication transmissions were coming from. like i said there are alot of arguments on both side, if you have an argument i want to hear it. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Yep i know it sounds strange but hear me out. How come the universe is so big? If the world was made billions of years ago or what ever, what made the other planets? If theres an explanation to this what made the stars and the darkness of space? Doesn't anyone find it wierd that planets are perfectly round in shape and that we as humans evolved and continue to do so? Even if there was some religion that could tell us how this happened it wouldn't explain it all. I know we've got science and stuff but surely theres more to it than that. Like that we're actually here living in a universe that is immeasurable. Something must have brought us here but the answer is what and how. I've heard about the big bang and a load of religious theories but they still dont explain what was here before all this happened and how it got there.

It seems that, at least in our solar system, planets form into mostly spherical shapes. Why is it that asteroids and most space rocks are not spherical?

On Earth, we don't need reference points, because we only travel in 2-dimensional space (left/right, and forward/backward). In outer space, however, not only do you throw in another dimension (up/down), but you also need a reference point to figure out which way is up, down, left, right, forward, and/or backward.

How do they figure this out? I know they use degrees as coordinates, but I'm wondering what their reference point is - the sun? And if they use the sun as a reference point, in 3-dimensional space, how would they know if it's above, below, in front of, or in back of them?
Do they just figure out where the Earth should be in relation to the sun, according to what the date/season is, and then base their coordinates for traveling everwhere else on that? What if they're nowhere near earth - how do you know which way is which?

How likely is it that the Earth is the only one? I've heard people say that the universe is so vast that there must be other life somewhere, but I'm wondering if there are any Astonomy people out there who have some actual calculations supporting or negating this idea.
