Hmm, can matter (in particular, oxygen) exist without gravity? Well, it doesn't *need* gravity to be here, but all matter has some pull.

If you're talking about oxygen existing on earth, it wouldn't stay here since there would be no gravity. Without gravity, we wouldn't be alive. The planet would still be flying through space or it would have collided with something else since there'd be no orbit around the sun.

Yes, oxygen is an element. Gravity has no real bearing on elements other than to try to help make molecules out of the elements or help elements combine with other elements to form compounds. Gravity does have a bearing as to the amount of oxygen you will find at different altitudes.

It could exist as water, ice or trapped in rocks but not as a gas, there has to be someting keeping an atmosphere attached to a planet. Additionally without an atmosphere there would be no fauna generating oxygen.

How do you mean? Matter exists regardless of gravity.

Are you talking about our atmosphere? Certainly the gravitational force exerted by the Earth is necessary to hold an atmosphere. Look no further than the Moon to see what happens to an atmosphere on a smaller body.

yes

and for all individual atoms gravity is in fact the weakest force that has impact upon them.

for atoms that are packed together & have interaction. like the earth and the sun, gravity is also the weakest force that has impact upon them.
