Imagine you were standing on the ground and looking straight ahead. Would you see anything above you? No. Because anything above your head requires to describe its position in one more dimension(or probably two more). Similarly we cant imagine objects lying in any dimension more than third. Some believe that human death is similar to having a transtion in some dimension of higher order. Coming to your question, just as position of a particle in three dimension could be described by (x,y,z) coordinate, theorists propose that our position in space with respect to fourth dimension time could be expressed in (x,y,z,t) coordinate. Imagine that (x,y,z) is one 'combined' dimension and time axis t is another axis along which (x,y,z) unit is moving constantly in upward direction from its previous place.+t is in upward direction and -t in downward direction. In short if you were in this same location as you are now, then your location in time space was 24(hrs per day)x60(mins per hr)x60(secs per secs)x300,000(km per sec) or 25,920,000,000 kilometers-equivalents away. Imagine covering all this distance in couple of secs. Its just all impossible as changing what happened in your room at this point of time yesterday. This idea is close to time warp. Whew! Excuse me if I have confused you enough, but I am looking at this concept only from my confined DIMENSIONS of mind
