NASA is preparing "life searching" missions in order to detect life on other planets and I wonder, what will we find? Some people believe that we will find animal life before we find intelligent life. Some believe that just finding plants will be a sign of "life" while others don't think we'll find any life at all. What's your opinion?

Stephen Hawking said that, in the Universe, disorder increases with time.
Also, it is quite obvious that knowledge increases as time passes
That being said; could it be true that knowledge is disorder?

considering that there is infinate space, does that mean there would be infinate planets? and if thats true then wouldnt there be another planet with the same elements as earth? and if so, wouldnt there be life on that planet too?

to those who didnt see it, a comet is heading for planet earth on a collision course,, it can't be stopped by conventional methods, i have heard of near misses and close encounters,, have heard that comets may have wiped out dinosaurs, wonder if it could happen again????

It states in the book that when the sun collapses, it won't affect us until 8 minutes later due to the time it takes light to travel to Earth.
If this is true, we can build a machine that can cause us to travel faster than the speed of light(classified as "not allowed" in the book) and escape time, right? Then, somehow we might be able to travel to the past, right? If you have no idea what I'm talking about then I'm sorry for wasting your time.=P
