Boy, do you think those guys will ever get tired of making jokes about the name of this planet!?
Well, I don't think so. And I don't think we'll ever land on the planet, either. At least, if by "ever" you mean, anytime in the next few hundred years!!!!
Why not? First, it's really far away and it would take a really long time to get there. So, someone will have to get in a rocket and ride for years (yeah, MANY years!) before they could get out there. And then once they get there, as far as anyone knows now, they aren't going to get anything useful or interesting. And then they have to ride many years coming back.
Couldn't we just go faster and then it wouldnt take as long? No, that won't work. Humans can only take a certain amount of acceleration (speeding up) and to travel such a long distance you would have to speed up for a long time, then slow down over an equally long time. There's no getting around it. It would take years.
Another thing is, a whole lot of radiation comes from the sun. We don't notice it on earth because the planet protects us from it. But if you were in space, it would zoom right through you and mess up your body. We don't even know if humans can make it to Mars without being killed dead by the radiation, and Uranus is way, way further than Mars.
So, unless someone figures out some really cool stuff to allow us to travel way faster than we do now, and way faster than any rocket has travelled up to this moment, our chances of getting to Uranus are pretty dim.

alright, these jokes are retarted. i don't think in the next 100 years we'll land on Uranus because it's almost enirely made out of gas and poiseness too. and it's way way way too far out in the galaxy. we already have a hard enough time getting to the moon in the last 50 years so not any time soon are we going to get there.

Discounting the obvious joke, I doubt it. Uranus's surface is made of gas, not rock like Earth, and you could no more land on it than you could land on a cloud.

Uranus has no solid surface. It is a gas giant. Therefore, no we will never "land" on it. However, we may someday be able to construct a station that could float within its gaseous atmosphere.
