before I get 100 answers saying "they are the same thing"

Please, someone who knows , tell me the difference between corn and maize and please provide sources -

I ask because my daughter and I have corn allergies- in looking for corn free products I have found things things labled 'corn free' but maize is listed in the ingredients -

I have had popcorn and corn starch and had reactions but have had somethingm ade with maso meal and had no problem.

This is evidence that maize is easier to digest, break down than corn thus they are not the same thing

any help with specifics will be greatly appreciated

A direct flight to Panama City takes 10 hours from Los Angeles. And yes, we did calculate the time change. Yet, Panama City is only about 500 miles farther than NYC, which is a 5.5 to 6 hr trip.

The tempo or speed with which evolution and subsequent speciation can occur varies greatly. Darwin assumed that evolution was a constant accumulation of new traits that leads to the formation of a new species. In more recent years, Stephen Jay Gould and Niles Eldrege proposed a second explanation. Which of the following observations best explains the punctuated equilibrium model?

A. Fossils that show many intermediate stages between a species of horse from 6 million years ago and the currently existing species.

B. Fossils with little or no changes exist in strata over several million years, but suddenly disappear and a similar but obviously new species appears in relatively brief geological period.

C. A mass extinction is followed by numerous new species appearing.

D. All of the above are examples of the punctuated equilibrium.

E. Choices 2 and 3 are both examples of the punctuated equilibrium mode

A pitcher claims he can throw a 0.142 kg
baseball with as much momentum as a 2.33 g
bullet moving with a speed of 52570 m/s.
What must be its speed if the pitcher's
claim is valid?
Answer in units of m/s.

What is the kinetic energy of the bullet? An-
swer in units of J.

What is the kinetic energy of the ball? Answer
in units of J.
