i know how to find derivative of a point easy. im thrown by not being given any function im just shown a graph, so do i figure out what the function of the graph is? im looking through my book and having trouble finding how to do it. do i take multiple points and find the derivative at each one then graph it? im soo lost please help.

I hve an Earth Science Lab which is due on Monday and I can't figure out how to use my geographic safety compass, however I did fine with the ones in class. Is there a difference between Geometric and Geological Safety compasses? I need one which will help me draw the circles for the seismograms that will help me locate the epicenter. i mean we always have this extra trash so why can't we leave on a planet since there is so much of space or we can just send a rocket with no people,just trash to the sun.i mean it will just burn up and its not like we use any other rocket again so this wouldn't be a waste of money either.

My house is over 200 years old and I live in a region that has sub zero winters with snow that can collect up to 8’. I wonder how the people who built and lived in this house survived without foreign or local fuel. Why has fuel become a life or death necessity?
Have we evolved somehow that we cannot tolerate cold weather like our ancestors did and like animals do now (birds, farm and forest animals etc…)
