Medical school and dental school are completely separate entities. I went to a medical school that had a dental school across the street, and we never crossed paths.
The medical school class takes its classes together, as a group, for the first two years. It's not like college, where you pick and choose. When it's time for anatomy, everybody takes anatomy. When it's time for pharmacology, the whole class takes pharmacology.
Clinical rotations are different - then the class splits up and some do surgery while others do pediatrics and others do psych, medicine, or whatever.
I don't know how dental school works, but they don't mingle with the med students, unless it's after school at the local bar.

They won't take classes together, as they are usually separate schools, but dental students have to dissect a body just like medical students do.

Pre med and pre dentistry have pretty much the same core curriculum, many of the same sciences... and there are mutual classes both disciplines will have, so it is possible they will cross paths, yes.
