I haven't been able to find any credible sources on the history of the polar ice caps. But, I have heard that the polar ice caps have been free of ice many times in the history of the plant. Is this true? If this is true is this big global warming issue a little over blown because this would be just a natural cycle of the earth. If this has happend before, melting of the polar caps, what has happend in the past?

Something I can release into the ceiling or walls to hunt rats that will be self sustaining and completely harmless to humans. Something that eats often or actively hunts rats. i.e. a snake eats rats, but only once every few days or weeks. I need something that will continually and aggressively eliminate rats.

It seems to me that if time travel to the past were possible that every configuration of matter in the universe at each of the tiniest possible intervals of time would have to be stored somehow, or the state of the entire universe at each instant in history would all have to exist simultaneously. Can you think of any way in which you could get to the past without needing a record of each moment of the past to somehow still exist? I don't know how to put this any more clearly. I hope someone understands what I mean.
